Ahoy, I’m Paul.
Sailor. Builder.
Storyteller.
A German transplant who traded dry land for Caribbean waters — and never looked back. This is the story of SV Anima, a rescued GibSea 402 that became my floating home, my workshop, and my reason to keep sailing further.
THE JOURNEY
I found Anima abandoned on a private pier in Bonaire — years of neglect, but a soul worth saving. I bought her, sailed her home to Curacao, and have been rebuilding her ever since: lithium batteries, new anchors, cockpit upgrades, and a hundred mysteries in between. She is no longer a project boat. She is home.
THE LIFE
Currently sailing the Caribbean and beyond, I document the honest reality of liveaboard life — the passages that humble you, the anchorages that take your breath away, and the repairs that test your patience. No filters, no sugarcoating. Just life under sail.

WORK WITH ME
I also build websites.
You’re looking at one of them. If you need a clean, fast, and purposeful website — for your boat, your blog, your business, or your adventure — I can help you build it.
01
Web Design
Minimal, well-crafted sites built around your story. No bloated templates. No generic layouts.
02
WordPress & Divi
Setup, customization, and ongoing tweaks. I work in the same tools I use for this site.
03
For Sailors & Travel Bloggers
I speak your language. Adventure creators and liveaboards are especially welcome.
WHY A WEBSITE PAYS OFF
Your adventure is
already a business.
You just need the platform.
Whether you’re crossing oceans, hiking continents, or slow-travelling by van — your experiences have value.
A well-built website turns your story into something that works for you, even when you’re offshore with no signal.
✦
Affiliate income
Recommend the gear, tools, and services you actually use.
Every click that leads to a purchase earns you a commission — passively, around the clock.
✦
Digital products
Route guides, packing lists, planning templates, e-books — content you create once and sell indefinitely. No inventory, no shipping.
✦
Sponsorships & brand deals
Brands pay to reach niche, engaged audiences. A dedicated website makes you look credible and professional when pitching to sponsors.
✦
YouTube & social hub
Algorithms change. Platforms come and go. Your website is the one place you own completely — a stable anchor for all your channels.
✦
Patreon & memberships
Your most loyal followers want to support you directly. A website gives them a home base and a reason to stay connected between posts.
✦
SEO & discoverability
Blog posts about anchorages, routes, and gear rank on Google for years. Free, compounding traffic that no social post can replicate.
“I built this exact setup for myself with Sailing Anima. It didn’t take long before the site started paying for itself — and then some.”
— Paul, SV Anima
If you’re already living the adventure, the hardest part is done. I can build you a website that’s fast, focused, and ready to grow with you — without getting in the way of actually living it.
